Sunday evening:

16h-20h, Welcome reception in the oldest building of France, used to be church; the “Saint Pierre aux Nonnains”, collect your badge there. 

The same guide will guide you for three days: Monday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning and afternoon. Her name is Sophie Delange.

Monday:

13h-14h: lunch together with the conference participants at “Ile du Saulcy”, Building “IUT” (Institut Universitaire de Technologie).

14h30-17h: Visit of old places of Metz (Cathedral, Germain Gate, Church St Maximin). Meeting at the Cathedral’s main gate at 14h30.

Tuesday morning:

10h00-11h30: Yoga session with Françoise Lescanne-Toth (the “Yoga Guru of Metz”). Go to the center of the city, Place de la Republique, Address exact: 11 avenue Robert Schumann, first floor (ring the bottom button). Bring a towel if possible to put on the yoga mat, the mats are provided.

Tuesday afternoon:

13h-14h: lunch with the conference participants at “Ile du Saulcy”, building “IUT”.

14h15-17h10: visit of the Citadel, followed by a boat trip on the Moselle river. The boat called Metz’O is part of the transportation system of Metz, leaves from the boat-station “Pont-Moyen” at 15h45 situated below the Citadel, and returns to the same place at 17h10.

Wednesday morning:

10h-12h: Visit of the Pompidou art exhibition center. There is a particularly interesting exhibition in this period of time. After the visit, go to Ile du Saulcy by bus to reach the building IUT pour lunch starting at 13h.

Wednesday afternoon:

13h-14h: lunch together with the conference participants at “Ile du Saulcy”, Building “IUT”. After lunch take the bus to arrive to the train station by 15h.

 15h-17h: visit of the famous train station of Metz (the most beautiful of France), and the Imperial Quarter around the station.

Thursday morning:

Free time for shopping. There is sale in Metz in July.

Thursday afternoon:

13h-14h: lunch together with the conference participants at “Ile du Saulcy”, Building “IUT”.  

14h-18h: excursion (if you have inscription to excursion)

19h-22h: gala dinner (if you have inscription) in the Robert Schuman Conference Center, just behind the train station.

Friday morning:

            Free time.

Friday afternoon:

13h-14h: collect a lunch box for your departure trip at the usual lunch-place; Ile du Saulcy, building IUT. End of the conference.
